Maruyama was invited as a lecturer at the seminar.
The seminar opened with around 200 participants. Professor Koji Sakamoto, the author, gave a keynote speech in the 1st session.
Maruyama appeared on the platform in the 2nd session and gave a speech, emphasizing that RF highly regards employees and their families supporting them behind the scenes as very, very important factor for total management of the company.
At last, he introduced a recent episode; a son of a employee wrote an article on dad's company in the newspaper at school.
The son told him, "Dad's company is great and cool!! I am proud of you, dad!!" The audience praised and applauded, looking at Maruyama's joyful smile and the hall was filled with a warm atmosphere.

Maruyama gave a keynote speech at the forum.
These two universities have been trying together to enforce the education and research activities on the cooperation of medical science and technology, in conjunction with local area members.
About 200 people attended the forum, including professors, staffs and students of the universities, local companies' staffs and local citizens.
Maruyama stressed and indicated through his past experiences;
(1) How big the world market is in the field of med-tech cooperation,
(2) How important the customer-oriented mind is for a manufacturing company, and
(3) How necessary challenging spirit is to the new market for a small- & mid-size company to the audience.
